Global Assistance provides humanitarian relief throughout the world. Our
primary effort is to assist our global community in addressing the need for medical
supplies and other humanitarian aid in the neediest areas. Global Assistance was
established in 1991 and is registered with USAID.
When 48,000 children die from hunger every day, something MUST be done. Global Assistance has been extending a hand of love and compassion to these children in Europe and the former Soviet Union. Many of these children are orphaned or abandoned and without love and compassion and will bear physical and emotional scars of hopelessness and malnutrition for years to come. We have a child sponsorship program in Belarus where sponsors provide a small monthly support for children at risk.
Global Assistance has provided over 1,000 40' shipping containers valued at over
$100 million in relief goods throughout the world. The aid sent includes food, clothing,
vegetable seeds, vehicles, medical supplies, medical equipment and school supplies. This
effort has been accomplished by working and partnering with groups who share the same goals.
Our combined efforts consequently have accomplished more for the greater good of the poor,
needy and suffering people throughout the world.
Global Assistance, in addition to its on-going programs, responds to natural disasters and needs around the world. We assisted with an earthquake in Pakistan, a tsunami in Sri Lanka, famine in Sudan and hurricanes in New Orleans and Honduras, to name a few.
Global Assistance responds to needs as funding becomes available and usually with established contacts. We do not ship to foreign governments. Our aid is distributed by qualified consignees within the recipient country.
Global Assistance program of supplying food, medical supplies and clothing to the needy around the world, has been made possible through the generosity of major corporations of America, and individuals who have a desire to help those in dire need. Your financial support would be appreciated, and any donations of food and medical disposables are greatly needed.
To partner with Global Assistance, please consider providing some of the following:
Donated items must be new, at least one full year in-date and in substantial quantities as we only ship in 8' x 40' ocean containers. Our warehouse is located in New Windsor, Maryland. For more information, contact the office of Global Assistance.
